Event Overview
Revival 6 (Dam Mastam) was a large-scale cultural Qawwali festival held on 7 December 2025 at Downtown ParkView City, Islamabad. Designed as an outdoor evening experience, the three-hour event welcomed an audience of over 5,000 attendees, bringing together families, cultural enthusiasts, and music lovers for an immersive celebration of Pakistan’s classical musical heritage.
Organizers & Partners
The event was conceptualized and fully executed by Media Sniffers with Emeralds Media serving as the official marketing partner. Media Sniffers led the project end-to-end, including strategy, planning, production, and on-ground execution, while Emeralds Media supported visibility, outreach, and digital amplification.
Vision & Event Objective
Revival was created as a cultural platform dedicated to reviving Pakistan’s traditional art and music. The objective extended beyond entertainment, focusing on reconnecting modern audiences with classical Qawwali through an experience that felt authentic yet contemporary. Media Sniffers envisioned a family-oriented environment where multiple generations could engage with cultural performances in a modern setting, reflecting a deep understanding of Pakistan’s cultural landscape and evolving audience expectations.
Artists & Performances
The musical foundation of the evening was led by renowned Qawwali maestros Abu Muhammad & Farid Ayyaz, whose performance anchored the event’s authenticity and cultural depth. Supporting performances by Dance Desire Company from Lahore added a visual layer while remaining aligned with the traditional theme. The program intentionally avoided distractions, allowing the focus to remain on classical Qawwali.
Sponsors & Brand Activations
The festival was supported by strong brand partnerships, with AirLink as the title sponsor and Cheezious and Park View as co-sponsors. On-ground activations played a key role in audience engagement, featuring dedicated stalls for AirLink, Cheezious, and Tappal. Cheezious served pizza to approximately 400 attendees, while Tappal distributed nearly 1,000 cups of tea, enhancing the overall guest experience.
Pre-Event Challenges
Delivering an outdoor event of this scale involved several challenges, including large-stage setup, sound and technical coordination, artist and vendor alignment, crowd control planning, and timely acquisition of permits and NOCs. Each of these elements required precise coordination under tight timelines.
Planning & Execution Strategy
Media Sniffers initiated execution one day prior to the event, focusing on stage construction, vendor alignment, and technical setup. Artist rehearsals and hospitality were managed on-site, with a full sound check conducted four hours before showtime. Ticketing and entry were handled in partnership with Bookme, using QR code scanning, wristband distribution, and separate counters for General and VIP attendees.
Production, Security & Crowd Management
The event featured a 24 x 60 feet stage, supported by spotlights, lasers, general lighting, and three large SMD LED screens. Power requirements were met through dedicated generators to ensure uninterrupted performance. Security and crowd control were managed through a structured deployment of 30 bouncers, 10 guards, and 10 volunteers, ensuring smooth audience flow and safety throughout the venue.
On-Ground Experience & Key Moments
Despite the complexity of the outdoor setup, operational challenges were handled effectively in real time. Minor technical issues were resolved without affecting the audience experience. Artists expressed high satisfaction with stage quality, sound, and hospitality, while sponsor branding was executed exactly as planned. A defining moment of the evening occurred when CEO Mr. Usman Usmani presented traditional shawls to Abu Muhammad and Farid Ayyaz, reinforcing the cultural spirit of the event. The artists later praised the festival as one of the largest Qawwali nights organized in Islamabad.
